The War of 1812 had many lasting effects on the United States of America. One of the effects, was that it improved U.S. manufacturing. It helped make the U.S. become more independent, and it also brought the Industrial Revolution forth, but, back to the main point. It also furthered Native American's west. Along with that, it increased American patriotism. Americans took this war, as a symbol of unity and happiness, leading to the Era of Good Feelings.
