US Military women were in the WACs, WAVEs, WAF, WM (Women's Army Corps, Women Allowed in the navy Voluntary Emergency Service, Women in the Air Force, and Women Marines). Those services were disbanded when the ALL Volunteer military came on line in 1975. During the Vietnam War, Women were women, men were men.
