On October 15, 2009 a 6-year-old boy from Fort Collins, Colorado untied an aircraft he and his father were working on from his front yard and his sibling witnessed him flying into the sky.
Later the balloon landed and CNN reported no boy was found inside. Later he was found hiding in his home's attic and was never actually flying in the balloon.
The event captivated the world for an afternoon and became a popular topic on Twitter.
