You have a leak in the system. A small leak can be hard to locate. Take the vehicle to a ac professional for repair.

The low pressure valve to put in 134a on a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera V6 is on the passenger side of the engine compartment. It is about 12 inches below the alternator.
Could be you are low of R-134a. You can check the PSI level on the lowside with a gauge and if you are you can add R-134a. Any automotive store and some discount stores will have R-134a and gauges. Also you can check out the videos on the link below with show how to add R-134a to you car, and where to find the lowside port.
You would fill the system with R-134a, using the low side port. The bad part is that your low side port is not easy to access. You will need to remove the passenger side wheel, remove the plastic wall and your port is there.

From the passenger side of vehicle you should see a plastic cap on the A/C tubing. Look for an 'L' on it for the low pressure side. Unscrew this cap and use the fitting that comes with some 134a refills or purchase the proper epuipment. Follow instructions on the 134a can.

You will add the R-134a thru your low side port. You will need a gauge to check the PSI level when filling. (You do not need the Manifold gauge set). There are a lot of all in one products you can purchase that have the R-134a and oil included in them. Some will even come with a reusable gauge.
I think it is on the accumulator/receiver dryer.
