DON'T TOUCH IT.It is a type of acid, so it can be extremely harmful to touch. First get an old rag that you don't care about (but can still use)and gently blot the battery acid.

DON'T SMEAR IT.

Then put the old rag in a disposable bag and throw away. Just to be safe, make sure the bag is sealed tightly. Then dispose of the bag in your large garbage can. That is what you should do. DO THIS RIGHT.
