I'm not a mechanic / technician but your engine temperature gauge would
indicate that the engine is running cooler than it usually would , the heat from
your heater wouldn't be as hot , the gas mileage would be poorer , your
check engine light may come on
Next to the thermostat housing.
Thermostat is stuck open.
probably the heater core is clogged
The primary cause for a 2000 BMW 528i to run hot is a defective thermostat. A stuck thermostat will prevent coolant from flowing and can lead to overheating.
It could be low on coolant, A stuck open thermostat, A broken/stuck blend door actuator.
I would replace the thermostat. This sounds like the thermostat is stuck open.
Yes. Check that first. If you are not getting heat then it could also be a stuck thermostat.
That or the thermostat.
its proabley the float located inside the gas tank...could be stuck
either the fuel gauge needs replacing or the fuel gauge sending unit in the fuel tank is stuck
Overheating Low coolant Defective radiator cap Stuck thermostat
check the coolant level, or, possible stuck thermostat.
