Ball valve is usually preferable. full flow with no restriction and a lot easier and faster to turn off when needed.
In Full bore ball valve, The bore dia will be same as internal dia of the pipe.In reduced bore, the bore dia is reduced than the ID of pipe.
valves are available in three types first is full bore equal to 100 percent opening normal bore/port equal to 80 percent opening reduced bore equal to 60 percent opening
Use full bore for applications where pressure drop should be minimum (such as in the suction pipe of a pump with required NPSH very close to available NPSH), or for pipes which could be cleaned with a pig (so that the pig doesn't get stuck on the valve). In other applications a reduced bore should be OK.
If the shut off valve handle makes a full turn or more, it has a washer in it. The washer can come off the stem and be blocking the line. If the fill valve in the tank is in corner of the tank with a float that rides up and down a shaft, there is a washer in the top of it that can become stiff or blocked with minerals and stop the flow.
gate valve is the most suitable in pipe line, because when it is opened full, unobstructed water flow will be there i.e. there is no pressure lose.
when the piston comes to top dead center or in full up position the valves must be closed if they are open the piston will hit the valve and bend it this usually happens from a valve timing issue by a slipped timing belt or chain. sometimes though this will happen if the valve sticks open from a bad valve spring
Could be a collapsed (restricted) brake line Equalizer valve may have to be manually opened to allow full fluid flow (Ford)
For Ball valve only,as it gives more full bore flow, unlike wedge block, slow operating in Gate valve.

A snap throttle valve on a vehicle works by using dual internal valves that give a full on or off operation.
EDV - Electronic Depressurizing Valve
Rotate the crankshaft clockwise after TDC. Rotate the camshaft until the gauge reads that it is at full lift. Then rotate the crankshaft until the inlet valve of number one cylinder is just off full lift position, and record the number on the timing disk. Continue to rotate the crank clockwise until the valve has opened and then closed again, and record this number. Add these numbers together and divide by two to find the number that is the full lift position. This will time your camshaft.

You also need to clean the "passages". EGR valve puts exhaust gas back into the engine intake under less than full power situations. When that happens exhaust deposits build up on the walls of the passages. Replacing the EGR valve was only half the repair, you also need to clean it out. There is a tube from under the EGR valve to the exhaust manifold. That is probably blocked.
Everyone run to the toilet to quickly take a sh*t! THen they come back at full time abuse everyone, and bash there school teachers. Homeworks G*y.
