If you don't even have a driver's license, you'll probably be charged as a juvenile so you might not see the inside of the county lockup...yet. But, you can pretty much say goodbye to your real license for a couple of years, and, if you get your car back from the impound lot and repaid your dad, at least you won't have to worry about the skyrocketing insurance for a couple of years will you? But, that's the bad side. I'd ask your dad to get a lawyer for you.
