First of all battery cables don't have a replacement interval per se. The defects that usually precipitate the replacement of a cable are failure of the insulation on the cable or corrosion and wear of the end the fits to the battery post. If you don't replace the cable when needed the most common affect will be the starter motor will receive to little electrical current to start the car, the charging system will be unable to sufficiently charge the battery, or the head lights will be dim
remove negative and positive cables, take battery holddown bolt off, remove battery! when installing new battery, battery hold down first then install the cables , neg first!dont forget to reset radio.
Dont start the car as you're connecting the cables -APEX
you dont. its automatic. or, you just connect the battery cables to their corresponding posts.
pre 1996 just hold the battery cables together (disconnect BOTH from battery first!!!) for a few seconds. 1996 or later varies. DONT slap the battery cables, message me the make and model and i will see if there is a easy way or if you need a controller.
You dont and even after they are hooked back up the code would have most likely been erased after the battery was disconnected.
somethin dangerous i bet. but dont try it bcuz u dont know what will happen
i think my voltage regulater's stuck, the alternader tests as ok, but the battery goes dead if i dont diconnect the cables. i even tried a new battery.
I dont know but you better find out
pros: dont have to spend so much for a battery change dont have to worry about your battery dieing on u on a long raod trip cons: lots of money
Most likely the battery completely died or there is no battery. Also that happened to my v4 when water got into it. Its either broken, or needs a new battery.
nope....stator as in the alt? dont do it. this was a test before the computer days... you will surge/ zap the comp. or did you mean starter? either way the answer is no
i dont no ask your teacher
