What happens if you get an LG Rumor wet?

Let me just start by saying that it's not necessarily a death sentence if you get your LG wet. I got mine wet, and I'll tell you what happened.

-Water seeped in underneath my keypad, so my phone was dialing numbers without my command.

-The water also got under the sensors on my END key, so the phone shut itself off and on without my command.

-I finally decided to pop the battery out to make sure it didn't do any more stuff. When a popped it in about a half hour later, a white screen came up with the following message:

REPAIR MODE

Please remove the battery.

-I figured that was the end of my phone, but just in case, I left it in front of a fan overnight, hoping to dry up the water inside.

-I told my mom the next day, and she asked to see it. So I took the phone out to her, popped in the battery, and, what do you know? No "Repair mode" screen. I turned it on, and made sure everything worked. I was completely blown away. It did.

So, the moral of this story? this phone has lived beyond it's expectations. It's great, and I've never had any technical issues with it.
