Based on my own recent experience with my dog, she was very restless. She wouldn't lay down or go to sleep under the blankets, she kept getting up and pacing around. She shook and wouldn't come to any of us in the house. She wouldn't take part in any of her favorite activities. Overall she was being very uncharacteristic and very wired. I hope this was of some help.
That depends on what type of dewormer you give and how much of an "overdose" the dog gets. You can call your Vet or, in the States, the ASPCA's Animal Poison Control Hotline (there's usually a fee) to get more information about what to watch for and any recommended treatment, if necessary.
Yes. Any medicine not given in moderation or as much prescribed can be harmful to any living being.
It would have worms soon because it had to much phioknly which is found in that medicine. It could die too.
it depends on how big your dog is... if it is small get it to a vet but if it is big then just watch the dog for a little bit and if it acts funny then take it to a vet
Whats the side affects of to much wormer to a dog
no you cant.
1cc per 7 pounds of dog.
monthly
wrap it in CHEESE! ... it the dog doesn't have weight problems
Hyper-ness!
Yes a dewormer can cause death if you give way too much of it. That is why it is important to weigh your dog to get an accurate weight before you deworm your dog. The deworming medications are based on the weight of the dog.
At the very least licorice will give the dog diarrhea - this happens in humans as well.
Yes.
You go and ask a vet.
It matters how much, they may become a little sick or very sick
Dog wormer products are effective in keeping your pet healthy by eliminating hookworms, roundworms, heartworms and tapeworms in dogs. However, different products may have different effectiveness depending on quality of the de-wormer used.
for what kind of worms? tape?no it does not hurt the dog..unless its heartworms...if you suspect your dog has heartworms DONOT give him the heartworm medication instead immediately schedule an appt with your vetA DifferentOf COURSE it causes harm. Wormer is poison. Wormer can hurt your dog even if he has worms, so it can certainly do damage to a dog who is healthy. A good natural wormer comes in the form of white pumpkin seeds. Dried and crushed, give your dog a tablespoon full (or so) a day for one week... it's usually more than enough to see solid results.
I certainly hope not. Horses are so much larger than even the biggest breed of dog. Horse wormer could kill a dog. I'm not sure about the 'cheaper' part either. Horse dewormer is expensive, possibly more so than dog wormer. Always consult your vet when it comes to the health of your pets, whether it be horse or dog. Wormer is medicine and when given incorrectly can be a disaster for the animal.
