hamsters cant eat chocolate because it will make them quite ill but it depends on how much he or she ate. im not quite sure but it might kill them so dont let ur hamster eat chocolate. but if you hamster eats chocolate then yes again it will make them ill or die. just to be safe, check on him or her tonight but if u see her acting quite strange take her the vet.

Its likely that the hamster only put the newspaper in his cheek pouches to make into a bed later on. If he did eat it he should be absolutely fine. My hamster once ate some plastic and the vet said that was all fine so I think your hamster should not be harmed.
