Age isn't particularly relevant, excpet if you made yourself falsely old enough to qualify for an additional deduction, in which case you should mend and correct it.
no way totally wrong
This is a great question that requires more than a simple answer. The basic answer is if you don't pay your taxes the IRS will either levy your wages, your bank account or they will put a federal tax lien against your social security number. Sometimes taxpayers confuse non-payment of taxes with non-filing of their tax returns. A taxpayer can file their tax return and then not pay the taxes they owe. If this is the case then everything mentioned above would apply. Then there are situations where a taxpayer may choose to not file a tax return. If no tax return is filed then there is nothing to pay, right? Wrong! The IRS has a record of the taxpayers earnings and knows the taxpayers owes taxes even though the taxpayer did not file a tax return. If a taxpayer does not pay their taxes they face strong collection activities by the IRS. If a taxpayer does not file a tax return this is considered tax evasion and the IRS can put you in jail! You will find the answer to all of your questions if you seek professional advice.
People and businesses pay less taxes.Government deficits and borrowing grow.Sometimes the extra money that people and businesses have is spent, sometimes it is invested. When the money is spent, it generates additional sales and property taxes. When it is invested it can generate additional income which can result in additional taxes.Whether the additional taxes generated by the additional spending or investment are more or less than the amount that the taxes were reduced by is a very controversial issue. Under the right total combination of circumstances, the additional economic activity can generate more taxes and more than make up for the reduced taxes. Under the wrong combination, it can cause deficits, infrastructure neglect, increased government borrowing and a general economic downturn. You can never predict the future of the economy by looking at just one factor.
The IRS is the Internal Revenue Service. It is an agency inside the United States Department of the Treasury that is in charge of administering the tax laws of the United States. Since the IRS is in charge of collecting federal taxes, some people refer to federal taxes as IRS taxes. While this is not strictly wrong, it sounds ignorant.

It means they're coming in wrong and pressing up against your other taxes. You need to have the IRS extract them.
