Nothing happens except that you will be married happily to the US citizen. You need to get married only within 90 days of entering the US and 60 days is perfectly fine.

Can a us woman marry a man with a green card visa?

I presume from your question that the US woman is about to marry a man who is in the US on a Fiance visa. She can marry that person within 90 days of his entry into the US. Also the marriage should be a genuine one and not for the sake of getting a green card. If it is a fake arrangement, then the fiance may be deported back and the US citizen may face legal problems.

I am an Italian citizen about to marry an United States citizen is it better to marry in the us or Italy?

It is easier to marry in the States than it is in Italy. In Italy, a US citizen would have to obtain a nulla osta from the consulate, get the bolli stamps for that which are about 80 euro a piece, go to the pretura with two witnesses and an interpreter (if not all four parties speak fluent English and Italian), then go to the preffetura, then go to the municipio to publish the bans of ceremony, set the date to marry and you must wait two consecutive Sundays and four days, then when you are about to marry you must bring the same two witnesses as you did before with an interpreter and get married. For more info you can go to the Milan consulate website http://milan.usconsulate.gov/files/marriage.asp.

Do you need a k1 visa to travel out of the country?

No, a K1 visa is not needed to travel out of the country. a K-1 Visa is a Visa issued to someone engaged to an American citizen so that they can enter America. The person must then marry the American citizen within 90 days of entry into the US and can then get a green card and become a legal citizen of the United States.

What is the step by step process for a Russian citizen to marry an American citizen in America and to become an American citizen?

yes you can, a person is aloud and has the right to marrry whomever they want whether based on religion, age(if over 18),or even gender(depending on location) Of Course, a Russian can marry an American citizen!! All that you need to take note is that of the law of both the countries. If the marriage is to happen in the US, then the American citizen needs to sponsor the fiancee to the US on a F-1 visa. Once the visa gets approved and the fiancee is in the US, next step is getting married within 90 days of entering. Once the marriage is legalized, the American citizen can then sponsor a green card for the fiancee.
