I believe the dipstick simply is used to check the level of the oil that is kept had u poured the oil in the correct way. So prbably nothing will happen aside that you must be a very patient person as funnels do not come that small so it had to take quite awhile to accomplish that task. Your owners manual if u have one should tell you where or autozone ,any autoparts can show you where to put in the oil.
If you are referring to a 4 cycle small equipment engine then use SAE 10w30. Pour in just enough to fill it to the full mark on the dipstick. If you have no dipstick then fill it up until it reaches the top of the fill hole.
simply pour the fluid down th dipstick hole........

Pour the transmission fluid down the hole the transmission dip stick goes in. You will need a funnel to do it right. WRONG! Do not pour transmission oil into your engine oil compartment! There is no dipstick for transmission oil, at least not on the manual transmission. To fill the transmission, you must pump or pour fluid into the fill hole on the side of the transmission until it dribbles back out.
If you mean trans fluid, you pour it in the trans dipstick hole.
You pour it in the same hole as the dip Stick. Remove the ATF dipstick and Get a long skinny funnel and pour away. Make sure you are using the correct ATF fluid for your vehicle.
Put a small funel in the spout where you remove the transmission dipstick and pour slowly

You don't "pour" it in. Saturn uses a "sealed" transmission, meaning that you don't check the fluid level using a dipstick. There is an access hole on the side of the transmission.
