This addresses a classic question in psychopharmacology (how drugs affect the brain), of which I am a student. That question is about antagonistic drugs, in this example whether a CNS stimulant (Dexedrine) would "win" against a CNS depressant (Lunesta).
It is somewhat dependent on dosage, but not much. As long as the dexedrine was given in a half-significant amount, it would win out over Lunesta--you would not fall asleep. Lunesta would also reach a "plateau" in its depressive effects with an increase in dosage much more quickly than Dexedrine would.
In general, the rule of thumb in psychopharm is that given a strong enough stimulant, in a high enough dose, it will always win out over the depressant.
This rule is not entirely foolproof. 5mg dexedrine against 200mg sodium pentobarbital wouldn't do much in keeping you awake. But even a slightly higher amount of methamphetamine or cocaine would.
Hope that helps
Yes
Yes, take 4.
People that I know, that take Dexedrine, have taken Tylenol when they have had a headache. To my knowledge they have not experienced any adverse effects.
I don't recommend this combination. Phentermine speeds your body up and makes you jittery. Lunesta is a tranquilizer. It makes you sleepy and groggy. Instead of taking one thing to speed you up and another to slow you down - why not just take nothing? You'd get the same effect.
jes maybe
It doesn't look like there are any problems with taking these medications together. so I guess yes
A hypothetical patient may use these drugs at the same time. All patients should use prescription drugs (alone or in combination) only as prescribed.
You shouldn't take those two drugs together. Vyvance is basically the same thing as Dexedrine except it is somehow bonded with the amino acid lysine. Basically that means that after it goes into your liver, the amino acid is removed and you are left with the active ingredient of Vyvanse, which is "Dextroamphetamine" It's designed that way to try and stop abuse of the drug, because the drug won't work if someone were to snort it to try and get high. Basically I'm saying that it's probably not a good idea, it would be the same as doubling up on your Dexedrine.
It is never a good idea to take two medications at the same time. You should consult your medical professional (e.g. a doctor) before taking any sort of medications, and they will usually tell you that this is a bad idea.
I took 1 and nothing happened
Yes, this will show up as an amphetamine.
Ambiean CR, Lunesta, Paxil, Vicodine, Methadone, Valium, Soma...stuff like that.
