They will not hurt your body any different than they would if you were actually sick. All antibiotics can be hard on the stomach and intestines. The only thing that could happen is your body might build tollerance for the particular medication, especially if you have used the same antibiotic more than once a year, and it becomes less effective. The problem with this is doctor's prefer certain medications over others, so they will prescribe an antibiotic for everyone with similar viruses... leaving you with an antibiotic that doesn't help clear the infection. (I just realized this question was under dog health... so I guess the same goes for your dog...)
Viruses are Not killed with antibiotics need antivirus antibiotics
No, that is not okay. Antibiotics are meant to target the spot of your body infected with the disease/pain. If you take antibiotics when you're not sick it is basically like doing drugs. If there is no where for the medication to target it has no purpose and could make you sick.
You get sick for a reason ....
Antibiotics are usually given to someone who is sick with an infection. There are many types of antibiotics.
find a vet, feed him antibiotics and dextrose(for dehydration due to diarrhea)
What happens when we take them without needing them - eg for a cold or flu which are caused by viruses. What happens when there are no powerful antibiotics left to fight the super strains of bacteria.
he will get sick or die. :( take him to the vet immediately.
you could get sick
Sick ones.
It's very rare this happens but they say to avoid antibiotics when pregnant but sometimes the reason you need it, the illness, can be worse for the woman and the baby then the antibiotics. if you are so sick you think you need it speak to your doctor and he will inform you of the possible risks.
By using the antibiotics when you are really sick, not when you have a cold or something minor.
Everyone would be sick
