First off, don't try it.
The same thing would happen to a cat that happens to everything else. It's molecules would be agitated; with the effect that it would start cooking from the inside. Eventually of course it would die, just as it would in a conventional oven, and from essentially the same causes. How quickly would depend on the power of the micorwave and how high it was set.

∙ 15y agoNot much unless you turn it on. Just putting the kitten in the oven and shutting the door will agitate the animal. It will seriously injure or kill the kitten if you run the appliance with the kitten in there - just as you could have guessed. It's a no brainer. An individual who does this is cruel and acts inhumanely. It's okay to let the thought cross your mind, but let it keep moving. Dwelling on it is unhealthy.
