So really I would suggest asking with a percentage of how impure the water is.

So even if you mixed it with, for example, milk, or Orange Juice, it would not be pure, but it could also be perfectly safe to drink. There are also lots of toxic substances that would be very dangerous to drink, if they were mixed into the impure water, as well as many dangerous types of bacteria, or other organisms. People can get parasitic diseases from drinking impure water. They can be infected by cholera or dangerous forms of e. coli. Mercury, lead, cadmium etc. will cause some degree of poisoning if they are present in the water.
