They dissapear.... i hope other people will answer this question because this is all i know.

You should know that the particles in the salt spread apart and become smaller.

Making it almost impossible to see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, in water what would happen is each of the water molecules is attracted to one sugar molecule and bonds to it and this happens until each sugar molecule is bonded with a water molecule. Now thats in water as far as in the environment I have no idea and pardon my spelling errors i am a scientist not a english teacher.
