There are five stages of greif one has to pass through when a cake goes wrong;
1. Denial and Isolation - The cake is fine, what am I worried about?
2. Anger - why did this have to happen to me!
3. Bargaining - If only I had read the recipe more properly, or paid more attention.
4. Depression - I feel so rubbish about having failed to make this cake.
5. Acceptance - whats done is done, I should just move on now and remember for next time what to do.
