Are the questions and answers on WikiAnswers monitored for profanity?
WikiAnswers has a dedicated team of over 550 volunteer supervisors who patrol the site for profanity and other inappropriate answers. They revert all such answers they encounter. Profanity is strictly forbidden on WikiAnswers. Many people of many ages and backgrounds use this site. It is disrespectful to expose people to such language, especially when such profanity adds no benefit to an answer. Profanity is unnecessary in answers, regardless.

WikiAnswers relies on contributors to answer questions. You will get the information you need if someone is available to answer the question.

Yes. The greatest number of WikiAnswers Contributors are American (about 80% are in the US). Then comes Canada, then England, then Australia.

Not at all. All contributors are equal on WikiAnswers.
What happened to recommend answers and recommend contributors on wikianswers?
You can still use recommend contributor, but it is found to the right under the avatars of the contributors. Of course, you must be registered and signed in to use that feature.

WikiAnswers has users from all over the globe, including Belgium. We do have a French section of WikiAnswers (fr.answers.com) which is where you are most likely to find Belgian contributors.

Profanity is against WikiAnswers/Answers.com's terms of use. You would need to find different wording. If there is no way around it, such as a direct quote, you can edit the word. Do you use AnswerBag as well as WikiAnswers?
I do not use Answerbag in addition to WikiAnswers. Answerbag is much like Yahoo! Answers, and has the same quality flaws as Yahoo! Answers. The answers are as-is, while WikiAnswers has an answer being worked on by hundreds of contributors until the answer is perfect.
