The first thing that happens is you start to get stomach pains, like a virus. This will get extrem after 24 hours. Second, you fell emotionally depressed, like you never experienced before. 3rd, you will start to lose your bowels after about 36 hours. My suggestion to you is to get yourself to a detox, where they taper you down very slowly. I t is just to painful, and dangerous to do it on your own....
Your heart slows down. Your breathing is slow. You fall asleep. Mucus comes from your nose and mouth. Then the breathing stops and then your heart. You dont feel a thing you just go to sleep and never wake up. This is what I have learned from my son who over dosed in Nov. 2007. My mother tried to wake him at 6 am to go to work and he did not wake. She said his breating was slow and ther was mucus comming from his nose. She wipe his nose and put vic under his nose. At 9 am when she went to wake him again it was to late he was dead. I do not understand how she did not know at 6 am he was dieing. There was allot of mucus on the sheet where he was sleeping but, that is another story. It very sad that he is gone. I loved him so much. Its like a kick in the chest every day without him. I hope this answer helps some. Rob's Mom
One of the most serious adverse effects of morphine and other opiates is that they can cause respiratory depression in overdose, leaving you unable to breathe. This can potentially lead to death.
by taking too much, or combining it with other medications.
Don't take methadone in combination with Valium as this will increase the effects of methadone and can lead to an overdose.
This is very dangerous. Never let a 14 year old take unprescribed methadone because it is a very powerful drug and can result in overdose.
There is a high risk of seizures, and death by overdose.
It depens of your actual methadone dose and age (or other factors). Generally, you should avoid this combinaison and use another antibiotic. However, if "cipro" is the only choice, make sure you check every parameters with your doctor and pharmacist.
Since methadone is an opiate, the effect of taking methadone and opium together is similar to the effect of taking either one separately but in larger quantity. It's a bit like asking what happens if you drink both vodka and gin. There is a risk of overdose, and of course a risk of addiction although anyone doing this is probably addicted already. The above answer is stupid and incorrect. This is not a good idea. If your tolerance to opiates is considerable than you will get really high and sleepy. If not you could Overdose (fall asleep and die.) I have been on methadone for 5 years and one night I drank to much alcohol and fell asleep in my chair, if my daughter had not come home the doctors told me I would be dead. Methadone can really knock you for a loop if you are not careful.
dont do it... xanex is a benzo. XANEX AND METHADONE have a very high potential for a DEADLY combination, as do all benzos w methadone. talk to your dr about mixing the others.
you can die
It doesn't matter why you're taking the vitamins, an overdose is an overdose. What happens depends on which specific vitamin you overdose on.
The amount of methadone it takes to overdose will depend on each individual person. Some factors to consider are how much the person weighs as well as their tolerance to the drug itself.
You die.
You die.
