What happens when you pay off your final mortgage in Animal Crossing for gamecube?

When you pay off your FINAL mortgage, you get a reward from Tom Nook. The final house upgrade is a two-story house, so once you've got that second story, you are gonna have to start saving up. It costs about 800,000 bells to pay that baby off. Once you do, however, he'll make a statue of you, in complete gold, and put it out in the train station. On it it will say something like:

"In honor of ...... who paid off their debt" or something.

And in case you don't know this, I know a tiny little cheat you can use to help you reach that fabulous goal. Copy and paste (or write down) this word WORD FOR WORD, even upper-case and lower-case. It goes like so:

That code will give you 30,000 bells. You can use codes 3 times a day at tom nooks store, so that 90,000 Bells daily. Change the clock and you can do it multiple times!

When you have paid off all of your mortgages on Animal Crossing, you are left with a massive house which you can decorate as you wish so enjoy!!! (There are no other mortgages after the last one paid!)

You can do this by speaking to Pelly in the post office and there should be an option called "Deposit." You enter how much money you want to pay, and that much will be subtracted from what you still owe. Keep doing this until all of it's paid off! :)
