well, an educated guess would be that the latter would chase the corpse of the dead goldfish around until it realized that the goldfish its chasing is acually really just a dead corpse. then, once this fact was realized, the (alive) goldfish would most likely eat the dead goldfish, and that wouldn't be good now would it? so you should probably, most likely try to maybe keep all of your goldfish alive and swimming, not dead and chasing eachothers dead bodies all around.

well there is no doubt after buying your fish you should leave it in its see through bag with a generous amount of water floating about on top of the tank before placing it in the tank. you should do this because the fish can get used to the water temperature and have a chance to adjust to the changes from one tank to another. after a minimum of half an hour you will then be aloud to release your new fish into your tank. goldfish are very sociable so the new fish should settle in very nicely. just to be on the safe side watch it for the first few hours in case the other fish are not happy about the changes. if this the case you should seek some advice on the matter ASAP.

If you could provide a bit more information on the size of the tank and the size and how many fish you have I may be able to advise you.

What should you put in your goldfish tank?

It is important to remember to put things in a goldfish tank, even goldfish get bored. Some of my suggestions for tank decor are artificial plants and a "hidey hole" for your goldfish.

Does a goldfish have live fish birth?

Goldfish are egg-spawners. If you want to breed them, you need: * two aquariums--a 20-gallon spawning tank, and a 10-gallon grow-out tank. Neither one should have gravel or a filter in it. * a male and a female goldfish, both at least three years old * baby goldfish food Put about three inches of water in the grow-out tank. Put the adult goldfish in the spawning tank. When the goldfish are ready to spawn, the male will chase the female all over the tank. When she gets tired enough, she will scatter eggs all over the tank, and the male will spray his milt all over the tank. The milt will turn the water cloudy. Now for the fun part: you have to wait until the water clears, then scoop up all the eggs and put them in the other tank. Goldfish will eat their own eggs. Then cover the other tank, wait until they hatch, and start feeding the little fish.
