The processor is an incredibly complicated circuit inside the chip under the large metal heat sink and fan on your computer, and it contains billions of microscopic individual components. The processor acts as the brain of the computer, doing maths and working everything out very quickly so that your computer works.

The RAM, or random access memory is like a place to store anything that the CPU needs to store, such as the answer to the maths that it just did, and you can think of it like a sheet of paper to scribble stuff down as you are working something out. What is stored in the RAM is constantly changing, and nothing ever stays there for that long.

The processor itself is an individual piece of hardware, and so doesn't have any hardware inside it as such, although diagrams showing all of the different processes inside the processor are available on the internet.

The RAM is usually two or three cards that slot into the motherboard of the computer, and each of these cards had quite a lot of black chips on them, which are the individual chips that store all of the data. Unless you want to go really far into the complexity of a computer, then the way this all works isn't that important. There are very few cases where you need to know that.
