The Augustan Age has been called?

You have already given the name of this age. It is called Augustan Age. It is one of the two periods of what has been called the Golden Age of Latin literature, which is seen as the best period of Latin literature. It was subdivided into the Ciceronian Age (named after Cicero) and the Augustan Age. The Ciceronian age has now been renamed the Republican period. Among the prominent writers of this period we can mention Marcus Terentius Varro , Titus Lucretius Carus, Gaius Helvius Cinna, Gaius Valerius Catullus, Gaius Licinius Macer Calvus, and, of course, Marcus Tullius Cicero. The greatest writes of the Augustan Age were Virgil (Publius Vergilius Maro), Horace (Quintus Horatius Flaccus), and Ovid (Publius Ovidius Naso), with whom the age needed. Other prominent writers include Sextus Aurelius Propertius, Albius Tibullus, Grattius Faliscus, Marcus Verrius Flaccus, Gaius Valgius Rufus and Livy (Titus Livy). The Golden Age of Latin literature was followed by the Silver Age.
