Peter became a contestant on New Faces (similar to x-factor). He was offered a recording contract live on television at the age of 16. He released his first single in 1992 and two years later received the Gold Album. He got a Top 5 in Australia with Gimme More. He go to number 2 in Britain with Mysterious Girl. Peter became the first Australian male artist that debuted at Number 1 in the UK. Chart sucess eventually led to tours in Europe, Asia and Australia. Peter supported Tina Turner. Peter performed in Wembley in 1997 for the first time. Peter done many shows with now ex-wife Katie Price but then went on to have his own tv show Peter Andre: The Next Chapter. He went on a tour of England in December 2011.
