"I have learned over the years that when one's mind is made up, this diminishes fear; knowing what must be done does away with fear."Rosa Parks
"I'd see the bus pass every day. But to me, that was a way of life; we had no choice but to accept what was the custom. The bus was among the first ways I realized there was a black world and a white world." -Rosa Parks I have learned over the years that when one's mind is made up, this diminishes fear; knowing what must be done does away with fear. -Rosa Parks
Some famous Rosa Parks quotes are, "Memories of our lives, of our works and our deeds will continue in others" and "I have learned over the years that when one's mind is made up, this diminishes fear; knowing what must be done does away with fear". Rosa Parks lived from 1913 to 2005.

Yes, She stood up for herself as a african american woman.
no that's why the white man couldn't sit and they asked her to move but she refused i would have done the same thing YOU GO ROSA!
she was considered a hero because she was a shy girl who stood up against racism done by nichollene bennett
Rosa Parks was best known for refusing to give up her seat on the bus, to a white passenger. Rosa's actions led her to jail. Later she moved to Detroit, Michigan, where she later became the first person to have done a speech with Martin Luther King. She later became the first woman to the Civil Rights Movement.
If she had not done what she did, then certainly the time was ripe for something to happen to trigger the events that followed. The beauty of Parks' contribution, however, was that it was peaceful and completely nonviolent as well as decisive and strong. Other things that might have happened might have taken us down another and much more costly road. We can be grateful on many levels that Rosa Parks held her ground.
