Many higher-end pharmaceutical sales jobs will require that candidates have a minimum Bachelor's degree. Some pharmaceutical sales positions only require a high school diploma or GED. It would be very rare for a pharmaceutical sales position to require a Master's degree.

A pharmaceutical sales job requires a degree in business marketing or biology in order to complete the functions of the job. However, these degrees aren't prerequisites and so long as the person is good at marketing and sales, a degree will be less important.
