Britain celebrates Remembrance Day.
Rememberance day is a Memorial Day to remember all the people that died in World War 1. On the exact hour of 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, a minute of silence is observed to remembert eh sacrifice of the solidiers.

No it is not a legal holiday in any state nor is it a Federal holiday, nor will it probably ever be. Why would attacking the USA and killing thousands of innocent people be something to celebrate?
