Natural gas, propane, coal, any form of petroleum product can be used to produce power. Anything that can be burned can be used to make heat and therefore heat a liquid to turn a turbine.
Generally speaking --- Hydrocarbons, when heated, burn the hydrogen off and bonding it with an oxygen - as well as the carbon bonding with oxygen. If it was just hydrogen and carbon it would be a mostly pure reaction, but other items reside in most hydrocarbons.
Heating, Power generation.
BC type Dry powder extinguisher is the hydrocarbon extinguisher since it is used for extinguishing hydrocarbon fires.
Vaseline is a hydrocarbon base; a substance used to contain other active ingredients.
butadiene
diesel is a hydrocarbon!
Yes, they are both used for power generation
Gasoline is a hydrocarbon obtained by separating crude oil into component fractions in a fractionating column; so yes a hydrocarbon can power an internal combustion engine.
yes
Heating, Power generation.
Power generation can be achieved by burning fossil fuels or from chemical compounds, or nuclear fission. Alternatively it may be created from harnessing the power of wind turbines or the sea.

Nuclear fission is used in commercial power generation. We don't use fusion yet in that application because we have not conquered the technological problems in doing so.
power generation, irrigation, travel, and recreation

Colorado's natural resources are hydrocarbon, oil, natural gas, coal, gem quality diamonds, wind power, geothermal power in the mountains, solar power, hydroelectric power, and corn used for ethanol
it is used in aeroplane it is used in boiler is used in propeller jet used for electric power generation in boats
The population of Ontario Power Generation is 2,007.
