Hi, your Eaton model 6 hydrostatic transmission requires straight 30 weight oil according to the manual.
Best to use Simplicity Multi-purpose Hydro Oil, part #1685516. Not much more in price than an alternate, and get the proper weight and additives.

The oil mixture for that motor is 1 pint of oil to 6 gallons of gas
10W-30 motor oil is recommended for use in a Cub Cadet hydrostatic zero turn lawnmower. Any brand of oil is acceptable.
20-50 motor oil
wal mart super tech filter # st3614 or Fram filter # ph3614
Woods Mower hydrostatic hydraulic oil filter
A Briggs and Stratton 18 HP V-Twin engine has an oil capacity of 1.75 quarts when the oil filter is also changed. If the oil filter is left on, it will require 1.5 quarts.
I had the same problem When I bought my mower I put premium hydraulic oil in it. It would move until it warmed up. then would slip. I thought I was going to have to buy a new drive. I finally got in touch with an engineer at Eaton Hydrostatic, the place that makes the hydro units, and he asked me what oil I was using. I told him premium hydraulic oil. He said "No wonder. You need to use 30 weight motor oil." I haven't had any trouble since. My mower is a 4211 Hydro, with an Eaton Model 6 Hydro unit that is attached to a peerless drive unit. So if your unit is an Eaton Model 6 or 7, use 30 weight motor oil in it.
i found that the t190 uses hydrostatic hyd oil further research found that transmission fluids are hydrostatic which means you can use either a tractor trans oil or even a torque oil 50 also high temp hyd 100 is also used
According to the Simplicity manual for models 7018, 7117, and 7119, hydrostatic transmission and tractor hydraulic systems use fluid from gear transmission (reduction gear) case. Dexron automatic transmission fluid (or equivalent) is recommended. Fluid capacity is 3 quarts (2.8L) and should be checked every 25 hrs of operation. Fluid and filter should be changed at 400 hr intervals.
