According to the Simplicity manual for models 7018, 7117, and 7119, hydrostatic transmission and tractor hydraulic systems use fluid from gear transmission (reduction gear) case. Dexron automatic Transmission Fluid (or equivalent) is recommended. Fluid capacity is 3 quarts (2.8L) and should be checked every 25 hrs of operation. Fluid and filter should be changed at 400 hr intervals.

Strictly the transmission is "hydro driven" on a Kubota BX-series tractor. It is has a high and low range but speed is fully adjustable and controlled by a variable swashplate in the transmission. The mid and rear PTO's are gear driven by a wet hydraulic clutch pack. FWD is strictly gear driven from inside the transmission. Hope this helps.
all blasters are interchangeable not true in 2003 the added hydro brakes and a new hood. the axle will fit tho but . most of the parts are interchangable execpt the rear axle and carrier and the breaks and hood
According to my manual the x300 is a closed and sealed transmission unit. No adding hydraulic fluid for the do-it-youself mechanics. Suppose there is a way but I believe that the dealership has to do that work if it's needed.
Sears uses several manufacturers to build tractors to sears specs. Most are made by Husqvarna and MTD. They recently partnered with Simplicity for the new high end 30 horsepower, I believe the model is CTX9500 and retails for about 6,500.00 dollars. Most rear engine riders are made by Murray or Snapper.
On a rear wheel drive vehicle, the rear axles transfer power from the rear differential to the rear wheels.
