If you haven't got your period at 17-18 you have to go see a Doctor Who takes some tests and see if you look normal inside. Ultrasound. Depending on the problem you might get hormones or go on the pill. The pill can make you start your period.

Raine Tonight = yes i agree ^^ and also That's only in rare cases every girl should start her period between about 8-14 but if you get up to 17-18 you SHOULD see a doctor because your one of those rare cases. But nothing bad will happen to you the doctors wont hurt you or whatever they do wont hurt they'll help you get your period.

Well, usually the girl hasn't started yet. Or she has been taking drugs, steroids, or other chemicals that could mess her system up. Just wait and be patient, it'll come. :0)

You could be pregnant, have an irregular cycle, or be having a reaction to birth control measures. See your Dr as soon as possible.

I will like to rule out the pregnancy. That is the most common cause of delayed menstruation. Your gynaecologist will take the necessary steps.

For practical purpose I will rule out pregnancy. Then I will think of other reasons. There may be many. There is no point in discussing it with the patient. It is too big a topic.
