Starting Birth Control can sometimes in itself cause irregularities in your period. If you just started within the past two or three months, check for pregnancy if you have been sexually active. If not, the the missed or delayed period is just a side effect of oral contraceptives.... HOWEVER.........
.....If you are more than a week late, you need to take a home pregnancy test. It IS still very possible to get pregnant while taking the pill correctly!!
If you still have your period while starting the next pack of birth control, continue taking the pill as scheduled. If you are asking about the possibility of reducing the number of periods by taking one of the extended cycle pills, talk with your health care provider about your options.
There are loads of different types of birth control pill (I'm assuming your talking about the pill), some of them stop your Period altogether, some mess up your menstruation cycle when you start taking them. Check the box, and your doctor if you want to make sure if it's natural for the type of pill you're on.
If it is seriously delayed, you need to see a medical person.
Contact your doctor immediately.
you can i dont think it will do much good though
Yes but you dont get pregnant on your period even without birth control.
No. Some forms of birth control pills actually cause you to not get your period for months.
No it makes your period more heavy and last longer! Dont do it!
no it will only makes sure you dont get pregnant if you are pregnant and start taking birth control its doing nothing
Well when you get your birth control the doctor should have told you to use condoms at least for the first month but I dont think that it would start to work that day!
Once you stop taking birth control, within 7 days of stopping it you will begin to ovulate and put yourself at risk of pregnancy. Before you re-start birth control, perform a pregnancy test. If the test is negative, you can re-start birth control. If the test is positive, see your Doctor for confirmation. When you re-start birth control, you cannot have unprotected sex until you've been on birth control for one whole month. So until this time you need to use a condom for 4 weeks.
You're supposed to start your period after you start taking the placebo pills. To keep on a routine, you should take the placebo pills on their designated days (the last 7 days of the 28 day cycle).
Hi, This does sometimes happen hun and is nothing to worry about. You should get your period next month but you will need to do a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy just incase you conceived during the first month of taking birth control pill as this does sometimes occur when you dont use protection. Take care.
i dont think so!
i dont know, but certain antibiotics can render your birth control USELESS.
If you're on the birth control pill and had a negative pregnancy test, it is not likely you are pregnant.
