The PlayStation Move was added to the PlayStation 3 with software updates and every PS3 that has installed the Updates can use the Optional PlayStation Move Controller and Eye Camera System for PlayStation Move Capability. If your PS3 does not have the updates you will have to download and install the updates before you can use the PS3 Move with your system.
