If you are aware that they have a crush, then you need to deal with it. If you like them, then start talking to and spending time with them more often; let them get to know you and go from there. If not, tell them that you are not really interested in them and that they need to find someone else. It may be necessary to avoid them for a while so they have time to adjust and get over their feelings.
