The 90 day limit applies to a VWP entry, not a visa. But you will need to leave the US when the 90 days are up- there are no extensions. Anything after 90 days will count as unauthorized absence and can lead to a 3/10 year bar after leaving the U.S.

How long can you stay in the US from UK?

The United Kingdom is a member of the Visa Waiver Program. This means you do not need to apply for a separate tourist visa to enter the United States. Entry on the Visa Waiver Program grants you up to 90 days' stay in the US. When you enter, you will receive a little white form called an I-90 and the officer will stamp it with how long you can stay. Be sure to check it carefully because there is no guarantee the officer will give you 90 days' stay.

How many days you can stay in Brazil if you are a tourist?

The tourist visa allows for multiple entries in Brazil for up to five years (American, Australian and Canadian citizens only) for stays up to 90 days. You may request that the Federal Police in Brazil grant an extension of stay, provided it does not exceed 180 days. However, you should not assume the Federal Police will grant the extension. But remember that unless you carry a special visa (student visa or a long-term work visa) you cannot stay in Brazil more than 180 days per year (consecutive).
