well he is probably shy or regrets telling you this because he probably thinks that you think that he is stupid or something. make sure to be really nice to him and let him know (if you do) that you like him. if not just be nice and smile. if he tries to get romantic change the subject (if you don't like him.) if you cant change it say your not ready for it or if your 16 or above or have dated before then just say i really do like you! but i just don't like like you in that way. im soo sorry i hope we can still be friends.
