no. as long as you stay true to yourself and talk to your parents about it, then you will be the good person you deserve to be. don't worry, it may seem like you are surrounded by bullies but in reality there must be a few good people at your school

We all have lives. Bullies tend to bully "Nerds", for a reason I dont know. Dont worry about what they say, try to ignore them and remember to tell someone about it. Your not the only one going through this. PS: You can also make the situation as a joke, or you could just walk away. Bullies want to bully someone who gets upset at whatever they say.

What effects can bullying have on the victim in 5th grade?
It can make the fifth grader negative, gloomy, and afraid of going to school. Many people wouldn't want to be friends with a person that is picked by a bully because they will be picked too. It will also attract more bullies to bully him/she because they know they won't be helped. I hope this is useful. If you or your child is bullied(like I was since grade 1) better stop it or the effects can be horrible.

There are many reasons, although no matter what the reason, you shouldn't be a bully. One reason is an incident at their home. You never know what they're going through, and they are taking it out on you. Why you? Well, it could've been anyone really. Nothing personal. Another reason is the bully wants to feel powerful, and be better than everyone. They may want to look cool. But bullying is NOT, I repeat NOT cool. It's the most hurtful thing ever. I've been bullied cause of my nose, but really, I ignored them. Bullies bully others to make the bully feel good about themselves by pointing out other peoples flaws.

a bully is a really mean person who hurt somone in many different ways. the reason why people bully is because mabye their life is not going very well i.e their parents are in jail, they think it is funny and maybe because that person was bullying the so called innocent one.

* Bullying has been going on for centuries. There are many reasons why people bully other people and it all boils down to the fact that the bully can be a product of their own environment while growing up or, they are extremely insecure in themselves. Nonetheless it's difficult for students or even adults to deal with bullies. If in school then 'people watch', and most students know who the bullies are; the students that are just plain trouble and the nice students. 'People watch' and then decide who you want to have as a friend(s). If someone asks you to do something that you have a funny feeling about (gut instinct) refuse to do it! If you ignore these types of people they will grow bored of you and move onto someone else. If you should ever be threatened physically by a bully or a gang of bullies then see the school counselor or tell your parents or the police. It's important your parents know you are being bullied and if you are working then it's important the Manager knows you are being bullied. To keep safe hang around with one or two nice friends and try not to be alone and also try to stay away from a bully or gangs of bullies if at all possible.

Asking an adult for help is the first step to stopping the bulling. This adult has to be someone you can trust, for example your teacher. Sit privately and talk to them about what is going on. They will help you figure out a plan to how to deal with the bully. They may talk to the bully privately themselves. If you are a principal, there are several ways to get your teachers involved in stopping bullying. Start programs making it easier for students to report bullies anonymously, and assign bullies to teachers. These teachers will keep an eye on the bullies and find out if the reports are justified. Then you can help the teachers take action by talking to the victim and the bully, individually and together. Helping children be set free from bullying is a rewarding experience that your teachers will soon come to appreciate.

What would be a good way for your school to involve students in an anti bullying plan?
This is a wonderful proactive plan to control the bullies (which are few compared to the good students in a school) and protect those that are bullied. If your school has a student editor then print out notices for meetings (check with the head of the school before doing so) and give the date and time. Pass out the notices to as many students as you can and stress on the notice that even if you are not a bully, but see bullying going on and ignore it then you are an enabler.
