It is possible that you are not interested in either your current b.f or your ex-boyfriend but attracted to parts of them (meaning their qualities and stuff) Therefore you keep jumping to and fro every now and then.
My advice is that you write down all the good qualities of both your current b.f and your ex and try and find someone who matches the description.
