You're really not supposed to give your rabbit a bath. Rabbits will usually clean themselves. If there are a few sections on your bunny that are dirty then go ahead and get a damp cloth and gently rub that area. Baths can be very stressful for rabbits and can lead to illness and injury. If the rabbit is messy, that means something is wrong - maybe the rabbit is sick, or maybe you aren't cleaning the cage enough, or you're keeping the rabbit in a cage that's too small (which anyway can lead to illness) - so, either way, you should bring the rabbit to a vet with experience and knowledge in treating rabbits to find out why the rabbit is messy. The vet may also be able to sell you a safe shampoo (even if he has to order it for you), if the rabbit needs a bath.

No matter what, don't use just any shampoo on your rabbit. Many shampoos sold in stores - even ones for babies; even ones for pets - are not safe for bunnies. Rabbits have very sensitive skin and shampoos and soaps can irritate and even burn a rabbit's skin; rabbits also groom themselves, so any residues left on the bunny will end up inside the bunny and could poison her.

If you must use shampoo on your rabbit (for a spot-cleaning, not a full bath!), and your vet can't order you anything special, then look at a health store for an organic, natural ingredients, non-medicated (even "natural" medications like herbs with medical properties can be dangerous), hypo-allergenic shampoo with as few additives and scents as possible.

Are guinea pigs odourless?

Most of the time guinea pigs don't have an odour as long as you clean their cage often. If they are still stinky, you can always give them a bath. If you want to give then a bath you should either use bunny, kitten or ferret shampoo, dog shampoo is too strong and natural shampoo is the best for them.

Can you give a bunny a bath with just warm water?

It can be dangerous to give a rabbit a bath. If you just use warm water, then you're avoiding the risk of dangerous shampoo/soap, but there are other risks to be aware of if you need to give your bunny a bath. Also, if your rabbit needs a bath, something is wrong and you should probably see a vet. Healthy rabbits keep themselves clean.
