you will need to loosen the bolt that hold the tensioneer back a little to slide it down so you can reach all belts around pulley. reverse the procedure after belts is on then use the ratchet or pry bar to thighten. good luck
They were dismantled limb by limb to reduce struggle and carried to a ship where they were put back together again.
You can adjust the belt tensioner by loosening the tensioner bolt. When the tensioner bolt is loose the tensioner pulley can move back and fourth.

The Tagalog term for "dismantled" is "binunot" or "binunutan."
find the belt tensioner and use a rachet to oush the tensioner back
The tensioner is automatic, no adjustment needed. If you threw the serpentine belt then look for a misaligned pulley or worn tensioner wheel. If you need to move the tensioner to get the belt back on then look for a square hole in the tensioner arm. Use a breaker bar with the appropriate sized square (probably 3/4") to move the arm to get the belt back on. probably tensioner is bad like a failed bearing
1. Pull the tensioner back with a 3/8 inch breaker bar and remove the belt. 2. Take the bolt holding the tensioner onto the head out. 3. Take the tensioner off.

I'm working on it as we speak - it is a difficult job and I have a lot of tools and am fairly experienced. I got the new belt on but am having trouble getting the tensioner assembly back together. Carve out a day. If you're a novice, consider taking it in. The accessory belt in front of it is a piece of cake. 1) Loosen the nut on the idler pulley, 2) back off the tensioner with a 14mm socket gently (directly on top of the tensioner puller). 3) Back off the tensioner aways to make room for the new belt. BiggDogg357: It takes about thirty minutes to do both belts on the two belt configuration. Remove the passenger side tire and any covers. Loosen the idler pulley nut then go back up top and loosen the tensioner, this will allow you to remove the AC/alternator belt. From underneath you must loosen the power steering pump bolt on the back (if you have a racheting 14mm wrench it makes the job easier) then loosen the top bolt on the tensioner, then loosen the adjustment bolt on the bottom of the tensioner. Installation is reverse order.
