Each individual may have a different perspective on someone such as this so-called jerk. Learn to be your own person and take a small risk and go out with him and give him a chance. Your friend may be looking for something else in a guy, while this young man could really end up being someone in your life. Name-calling is cheap and unnecessary. By the way "jerk" to your friend could well mean he refused her advances or she doesn't think he's good looking enough or possibly is "nerdy." Don't waste your life listening to others when it comes to average people's personalities and make up your own mind. I seldom listen to gossip and decide who I want in my life. Thank heavens or I would have lost out on some fine friends. Go out with the guy, but stay in a group (such as a favorite hang out) or in a public place for coffee and talk to him and decide for yourself if you like him or not.

∙ 13y agoForget him. You all ready know he is a "jerk" and if you do begin a realtionship with him it can only get worse. He won't improve and you can't change him. Find a nice fellow to give your attention and love to.
