Check your fuel filter. It most likely needs to be replaced.
It's probably the fuel pressure regulator.

I think you're running super rich ( common Z problem ). Most likely a problem with your AFM and not the fuel pressure regulator. I've got a 76 Z myself. On the back of the alternator
change the fuel pressure regulator ,i had the same problem on my silverado 2000. that fixed the misfire.
check the fuel pressure regulator by taking the vacum line off it. if the line is wet or some gas comes out of the regulator the regulator is bad change it. I had the same prob and after changing the fpr it was fixed.
