That is correct, but using the term parallel is an overly confusing way of saying it. - You should connect positive to positive and negative to negative. This will retain voltage and increase capacity.
If you confuse the term 'parallel' with 'serial' and connect them positive to negative and negative to positive, you'd double the voltage and probably kill most if not all of the electronics in both cars.
You need to charge your battery or get a jump. Replace the battery or have it checked because it is dead.
If You Are Running A Cable From The Battery ( Bypassing The Solenoid ) You Starter Runs Then It Would Most Likely Be You Have Lost Connection On The Solenoid From The Battery Side. ie You Probable Have More Than One Cable On The Battery Incomming Side Of Solenoid Clean All Cables At Battery And Where They Connect To Engine Block ( Negative ) And All Positive Connections Also Check Battery Cables Sometimes They Will Accumilate Lots Of Corrosion Under The Plastic Cable Covers On The Battery End Of Cable, Replace Cable If This Is So. If This Gets It Going I Suggest You Replace Solenoid Also. BEST I CAN DO
Find out what type of battery the fob takes, and then replace it. If you are in the middle of nowhere, then i dont know.
Replace the flickering light.
I would suspect the battery has been discharged, is defective, or you have loose or corroded battery terminals. Remove and clean the terminals and if that does not solve the problem charge the battery with a battery charger. If it will not take a charge then replace the battery.
disconnect the battery, un bolt the starter and replace it then connect the battery
Remove - battery cable Remove + battery cable from battery and starter solenoid Route new cable following original routing Connect to starter solenoid Connect to + battery terminal Connect - battery cable
disconnect both poles, wait 5 minutes, lossen the bolt, replace your battery, tighten the bolt, connect both poles. here you go disconnect both poles, wait 5 minutes, lossen the bolt, replace your battery, tighten the bolt, connect both poles. here you go
Yup......But only if u connect them in PARALLEL! Connecting them in parallel (e.g. the positive cap from Battery 1 is connected with the positive cap from battery 2.....the negative cap from battery 1 goes with negative cap from battery 2) adds the amperage (voltage remains the same).......Connecting them in SERIES (as in any flashlight the positive cap of battery 1 goes with the negative cap of battery 2 making a "bigger battery" that has the positive cap from battery 2 and negative cap from battery 1...) adds the voltage (the amperage is the same). Note: Use same batteries either parallel or series connection.
Disconnect the cable from the LeSabre battery. Follow the route of the cable and disconnect the other end. Pull the cable out, then fit the new cable in the same direction. Connect the non battery end, then connect to the battery.
Drain coolant, disconnect the battery. Disconnect the coolant line, replace the thermostat with a new one. Do not forget to replace the gasket too. Reconnect the line. Refill coolant, connect the battery.
Disconnect the Regal battery cables. Find the battery clamp then remove it. Lift the battery out, then put the new one in. install the clamp, then connect the battery cables.
bFIRST OF ALL DISCONNECT POSTIVE BATTERY LINE FROM BATTERY. and unscrew the two bolts on starterand other wires. Then pulls started out and replace with new starter and connect the wires the same way you took it out and replace positive line on battery
Yes if you buy adapters so you be with will be able to connect it up.
disconnect the wires that connect to the battery marked either in black and red or a - and +, then if there any clamps where the battery is sitting unscrew those as well. Then reverse order to put new battery in
disconnect the 91 blazer cables at the battery. One at a time, disconnect the cable at the opposite end, then pull it out. Put the new cable in, routing it the same way, then connect the non battery end. do the same for the other cable, then connect the cables to the battery.
Disconnect the battery cables on the Wrangler. Find the battery hold down and depending on the style, either loosen or remove it. Lift the old battery out. Set the new battery into the battery tray. Reinstall the clamp, then connect the battery cables.
