Sure. The hamster is a rodent, just like rats. whatever kills rats is quite likely to kill hamsters too.
Common rat poison ingredients such as warfarin prevent blood from clotting and kills rats by making them bleed to death internally. It can have the same effect on mice, hamsters, dogs, cats, people, and any creature that has blood and relies on the normal clotting mechanism.
It should definitely kept away from anything that may try to eat it.
Oh I am really sorry, I have a hamster and I don't know what I'd do if he got lost :((((((
The best advice I can give you is to not put any more rat poison around and try to make traps for him.
*Place some of his favourite food at the bottom of a bucket that has soft padding at the bottom. Then place a ramp that leads up to the bucket and put this in a dark corner. The hamster may sniff out his fave food and climb up the ramp, thus falling into the bucket trapped waiting for your rescue :) GOOD LUCK!
it depends on the hamster
you get it
Get a new hamster. Say good bye to the lost little fellow.

That question doesn't even make sense.
