First of all, Wireless-G give overall poor performance. I would recommend switching to Wireless-N.
The first troubleshooting you should to is check to make sure that you are not turning your wireless network card on and off because of a poorly positioned button or switch.
Next, is the "Main computer" plugged into the router with a cable? If so, then you are getting interference from one of your other wireless appliance. This occurs when another wireless appliance, such as a wireless phone, transmits on the same frequency as the Router.
If not, then your laptops Wireless network card is not long for this world :(. Next time you disconnect, run windows network diagnostics.
There could be wireless interference between you and your router. There could be some kind of problem with your modem, internet, cable, etc. Go to the test connection page, try connecting and message me what the problem is.
That happens to me too- mostly in bad weather. It's usually an Internet Connection problem- easily fixed by restarting your computer or disconnecting the Internet and connecting it again.
The easiest way to solve this problem: use a wireless connection. Many recent computers include a wireless NIC (network interface card), and can connect to wireless networks easily, leaving the Ethernet port free. This will only work, obviously, if this computer has a wireless card and there is a wireless network to connect to.If wireless is not an option, purchasing an additional Ethernet card will upgrade the computer to owning two Ethernet ports. One port can be used for the Internet, the other for this external service.
If your wireless access point will be connected to the same ISP and your wireless laptop will connect to this access point, there is no single problem with this configuration. Just the bandwith of your internet connection will be shared amongst the two computers instead of only one. Practically means, that is one computer will be downloading some large file, the other computer may experience slower internet connection. But it depends on how fast is your internet connection.
You can not share your phone wireless internet with your PS3. The PS3 will search for a WiFi connection and if one is found it can be used to connect to the internet. If you have internet service it is not a problem to connect to the PS3
Yes Basically everything that has Internet but if you are not getting Internet you should try getting closer to the modem to see where the problem is!
If you are having a problem connecting to the internet, there are several ways to tell if the problem is with your computer or your ISP (internet service provider). First, check your network connections from the control panel on your computer. If your computer says that you are disconnected, the problem is probably with the connection between your computer and your router. If not, the problem may be with your computer itself, your router, or ISP. Check your router's status indicator lights. If they are not blinking normally the problem is most likely with your ISP or the router itself. If not, it is probably a problem with your computer. Answer Check out in this order: System, Program, User...
Yes, you can. The only problem might be is that it can be tricky to set internet connection.
Disconnecting the battery is what resets the computer on this model year. Try disconnecting the Pos battery cable for 15 minutes. If the problem presists after connecting the battery up again, you have a problem with Idle Air Control, EGR Valve, etc.
Check to make sure the router is connected to the internet. I had a problem like this once. Make sure you put in the correct wireless key. It will still say that it can connect to the router but you wont really be connected to it.
Wireless internet connections are not affected by poor weather. This is typically a problem reserved for satellite services. Wireless internet is not impacted by weather such as high winds or snow. While network outtages can occur, this is rare and not as common as weather outtages for home computers.
Either try disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes or have vehicle scanned and codes cleared
