It is a possibility as some rats have different reactions to threating behavior. However most cases of rats jumping at your neck are falsely perceived and was simply caused by the rat jumping over the persons shoulder to escape (rats can jump very high up to 77cm verticaly and 120 horizontaly). However if you do corner a rat be careful as they are still not harmless animals.

Then separate him, he obviously doesn't get along with the others. And if the others have bite marks or any sign of a scrape or blood, take them to a vet immediately!
